Louisville renowned  Chef Alexander Dulaney's menu isn't trendy nor is it staid. It pulls you in like a novel you don't want to put down.

 

Bistro Le Relais, at Bowman Field, exudes charm and captures the nostalgia of the old airport. The Art Deco dining room's birdseye maple walls, artwork and intimate configuration are the definition of refined elegance.

Jonathan Exum got his start cooking professionally at 16.  Before becoming chef at Wiltshire on Market—a restaurant that is part of the very fabricate of the Louisville dining scene—Exum worked under regional powerhouse and Chef Michael Paley. Exum reinvents Kentucky classics, as with his Watergate Salad, and breathes new life into simple Southern staples as with his double smoke ham dip.

Award winning chef, Josh Lehman, is a Louisville staple.  His Magnificent Mushroom, Shiitake Sliders repeatedly receive acclaim.  A king of fermented foods  Josh's creations exemplify exquisite cuisine and down to earth appeal. 

 

Good beer and good company is the only thing prayed for in this house of worship.  Built in 1905, this small Unitarian Church in the heart of the Louisville’s Original Highlands neighborhood is now home to the Holy Grale, one of Louisville's premier tap houses and restaurants.

From Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, Chef Bruce Ucán brings the flavors and techniques of his family’s Mayan cooking. Moving to Louisville in 1987, he opened the Mayan Cafe.  Ranked among the City's finest local eateries,  Here, he fuses traditional Mayan recipes and flavors with local, seasonal ingredients. 

As Executive Chef of Decca, Annie Pettry brings to the table a passionate and uncompromising commitment to quality, a respect for technique, and an artistic sensibility that results in a balanced yet exhilarating eating experience. With a nuanced palate and an ingredient driven mindset, she creates her own unique take on American cuisine.

Huong "CoCo" Tran is the creative force behind both Heart & Soy and Roots restaurants. A pioneer in the Louisville restaurant industry, she opened Egg Roll Machine – the first Chinese take-out restaurant in the city in 1980, Café Mimosa – the first Vietnamese restaurant in the city in 1986, Zen Garden – the first Asian vegetarian restaurant in the city in 1999, and Zen Tea House – Louisville’s first and only Asian tea house that offered not only a vegetarian menu but an extensive list of high quality loose leaf teas procured from estates found all over the world.
